On the 1st March at Dungiven Sports Pavilion the club hosted a Primary 1 and Primary 2 Fun day for our feeder primary schools.

The children got a chance to show off their fundamental movement skills and ball skills that they have been learning and with club GPO Emmett Stewart during their school practices. In total 160 children participated in a day that created a lot of fun and making new friends with children from the other schools.

Special thanks to the teachers and assistants from St Canices, Gaelscoil Neachtain and St Johns Dernaflaw for bringing the children and assisting with some of the activities. Also to the students from St Patricks High School (Karl McGilligan, Emma McCloskey, Amy Irwin and Hannah Mullan) who helped in the setup and delivery of the games. Finally to the boys and girls of Primary 1 & 2 who made the event with all the fun and skill displayed on the day.

Training for Primary 1&2 boys continues 6.30-7.30 Wednesday evenings in St Patricks High School.
