Underage Coaching Support:
There was a big turn-out for the Child Protection Course hosted by St Canice’s GAC on Thursday evening when over 70 people attended this essential course, required by anyone involved in underage coaching in our clubs, (including parents who help during training sessions by taking drills etc.). It was great to see so many representatives from our sister clubs of St Patrick’s Camogie Club, St Canice’s Ladies Football Club & Kevin Lynch Hurling Club and the large attendance provides evidence of the tremendous focus currently on all GAA codes in our community.
The coach-education initiatives continued on Saturday morning when an in-house Football Foundation Coaching course was attended by 15 of our newest coaches – thanks to all who attended and hopefully you all found it to be a useful session.
Executive Committee Meeting:
Special Meeting on Monday at 8pm in Club Meeting Rooms.
This Week’s Lotto numbers, drawn Sunday 31st January, were:
09 – 13 – 16 – 17
No Jackpot winner. Two £20 winners – Rosemary Mullally & Conor Quigg
Next week’s jackpot rises to £5000 – thanks for your continued support.
Last Man Standing Competition:
Thanks to everyone who has entered this year’s Last Man Standing competition – 38 players successfully registered before the deadline and the vast majority of these have safely navigated the first round of matches. Will next week prove to be more challenging?
