Cold Weather – think of the elderly and vulnerable
With the bitterly low temperatures in mind, it’s always a good idea to check in on the elderly or vulnerable friends and family. Please be mindful that these members of our community are most susceptible to becoming unwell as a result of bitterly cold weather conditions.
Sometimes they can feel quite isolated and might be unable to get out of the house. If you know of someone who lives on their own, maybe tap their door and check if need any particular help or just someone to talk to. Also ask if they have heating and food in the house.
Your 2 minute call could give someone a lift or even save a life.
Well done to St Mary’s University College, Belfast and our own Conor Kelly and Eoin McGonigle on winning the Fergal Maher All Ireland last Saturday morning.
Our Weekly Club Lotto takes place every Friday night at 7:30pm.
Tickets can be purchased online through our website at
