Regretfully we have to report that as of tonight, one day before training begins, we have still been unable to appoint a management team for our U10 squad. Our original nominated manager/coach team had to withdraw and, despite our best efforts, we have thus far been unable to find a replacement.
We would therefore appeal to parents of children in this age-group to think about putting their name forward to help run this team this year.
Don’t let the fact that you mightn’t have much experience put you off – there are plenty of resources to help you plan sessions, and there’s a great support network around the Club, from the Executive, the Youth Officers and the rest of the underage management team.
Without a management team to take responsibility for this group there is a real risk that we will be unable to run an U10 team this year.
